Thomas Becker (canoeist born 1967)




Thomas Becker (born 6 July 1967 in Hilden) is a German slalom canoer who competed from the late 1980s to the early 2000s (decade). Competing in two Summer Olympics, he won a bronze medal in the K-1 event in Atlanta in 1996.
Becker also won six medals at the ICF Canoe Slalom World Championships with four golds (K-1: 1997, K-1 team: 1995, 1999, 2002), a silver (K-1 team: 1991), and a bronze (K-1 team: 1997).
He won the World Cup series in K-1 in 1996. He also earned a total of five medals at the European Championships (3 golds and 2 silvers).
